Pre-Fall 2016 : Diane von Furstenberg

I adore Diane von Furstenberg. I'm one of these girls who's obsessed with her House of DVF programme on E! and I sometimes wish I could be her brand ambassador, because I love her brand so much. I feel that Diane gives so much in her collections. She designs for the girly girl, with many aspects to her style. I love that she keeps things fairly safe, but gives everything when it comes to colour. She is the queen of Colour for sure.

"Everything is supposed to feel like a scarf" she said, and theres no denying she's brought many colour, patterns and prints to this Pre-Fall collection to look like a luxury scarf, but the beautiful fabrics she used for her clothes are captivating and beautiful - giving the comfort and feel of a scarf. Diane knows exactly what her clients want and how they like it - each season she just delivers the perfect wardrobe. I feel like with Diane, all the pieces in her collections can be mixed and matched to create the perfect look for an individual - which is exactly what makes it fashion fun and exciting.

The collection was perfect as a change between the summer months into the winter. It's the collection that fits the autumnal months more than others. She kept the perfect balance. Teaming shearling coats with skirts, and a jumper with shorts. I also loved the fact she incorporated opaque black tights with a bright orange dress. It really worked, and of course, that dress can be worn in summer too, giving the same bold effect it does being worn in Autumn. She also incorporated culottes and flares into the collection which most women are somewhat hesitant to brave, but, I know for sure this collection will persuade them to venture out and feel incredible.

The wrap dress which was created by Diane, in which launched her career, made an expected appearance in this collection. Every season she uses the infamous design and adapts it to the trends and theme of the collection it is in. Within this Pre-Fall set, she had used a contrast of stripes with orange, blue and black - giving us the perfect autumnal dress.
