Spring/Summer 2016 Ready-to-Wear : Michael Kors Collection

With this Michael Kors collection, it was if two collections had merged together. It was different, but it just worked. You had the neutral, soft tailoring looks which were similar to the last AW15 collection, but then contrasting that you had the big floral, bright flowy looks which definitely invited the summer vibes into the show.

Michael Kors is one of the most popular designers at NYFW, so it's no surprise that he needed to impress - and did so with flying colours, literally. I was happy to see some Michael Kors classics take the runway though. From his iconic tan suede coats and blouses to shirtdresses and inverted stripes pieces. Still blossoming on the masculine feel that he returns to with every collection.

I personally loved the diversity within the collection because it really does reflect the industry as a whole. Diversity and difference. It's as if Kors has thought of every type of woman and merged it into one collection with each different look. I loved it.
