Resort 2016 : Diane von Furstenberg

I really do have a soft spot for Diane von Furstenberg's brand. It's so down to earth and enjoyable that you sometimes forget that it is a luxury designer brand. The collection is always so feminine, colourful and bright - and I think any age women can wear her clothes, which is so good about a collection.

I loved this Resort 2016 collection from DVF, purely because I would wear every single look. I love the fabrics, prints and shape that Diane always incorporates into her sets. Including that iconic wrap dress which was designed by Diane to look good on any shape of women. I do love a wrap dress myself. Every highstreet retailer has copied the look and you can by a wrap dress almost anywhere now thanks to Diane's creation.

I feel like Karlie Kloss' beautiful DVF number she wore at the CFDAs had lead the way for this great collection - a string of 70s looks - which were all undoubtabley beautiful and wearable. Another highlight of this collection was the maxi length T-shirt dress which was made from the brand's infamous jersey fabric - which is known to excel comfort aswell as fashion. In addition to a personal favourite of mine, the Zebra printed trench coat, which ooooozed sex appeal and is perfect to make a statement during 2016. Another highlight of this Resort 2016 collection was the accessories. Apart from the exception of a few darker colour bags - this collection took advantage of the bold accessory trend and incorporated bright colours such as bubblegum pink, purple and cobalt blue … and if you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you'll know how much I love my accessories …. I am so glad that bold accessories are going to be on trend next year.
