AW15 : Moschino

Moschino is a complete breath of fresh air during Fashion Month. It is certainly the collection which leaves you feeling good. It's different from what we would initially think as "high fashion". I like Jeremy Scott because he doesn't care what people think. Sure, he wants to impress his clients and the media - but at the same time, he is completely himself, and this conveys through his adventurous collection. His SS15 Moschino collection was the talk of Milan Fashion Week with the unveil of his capsule Barbie collection. It was only 2 seasons ago that Jeremy Scott had made his debut with the McDonald's collection, which really blew the industry away, with the diversity and uniqueness that he brings to fashion.  I love it.

It was only a week before this show that Jeremy Scott was in New York showcasing his namesake line. Now, he had to impress at Milan. His previous collections were social media sensations, with bloggers, fans and clients regularly posting and lusting after his unique designs. Now, this collection was different. It was with this collection that Jeremy Scott turned to the streets for his catwalk inspiration for AW15. Bright bold colours teamed with bling - ensured to us that this was made by Jeremy Scott.

Forwarding on through the show, the brand showcased Looney Tunes sweaters, which were a highlight of the show being modelled by 4 models down the catwalk together. Scott isn't one to keep things traditional. Followed, was more looks printed with cartoons which are set to sell out fast. The incorporation of the Moschino Bear was also a hit - with Jeremy finishing the show wearing a "Ready-to-Bear" top, giving a huge reference to his latest, incredible collection.
