Chloé : SS15

I've always had a soft spot for Chloé. Not only because it's designed by the talented Karl Lagerfield who has an amazing eye for elegant, yet unique, pieces - but because they've always had that soft and feminine touch to their collections. This collection is by the fantastic Clare Waight Keller.  If you read my blog often, you'll know that I am a huge fan of the tailored, sharp and structured pieces, but Chloé is different to that. They do sometimes feature structured pieces but overall it's much more soft and subtle, thats why I like it. I am such a girly girl, and in the summer I definitely turn to Chloé for my inspiration! I am so impressed by their SS15 collection, it really conveys a bohemian and festival vibe, with tall gladiators - a summer look I love. They're heeled, so they're just calling my name! In my opinion, I think that the shoes really make the outfits in this collection, they're absolutely beautiful. Tanned satchel - style bags are also back, which were a huge hit last year.

From a series of butter soft shorts in suede to deep indigo denim, this collection features all your Summer 2015 must haves. The denim was worked into cropped straight - leg trousers, mini skirts and maxi skirts with oversized pockets for a cool, laid-back feel. It also presented a urban vibe and ticked many of the emerging spring trend's boxes. The crochet patterns and the balloon sleeves which hung off cami straps, really showed off that SS15 is all about the relaxed, ibiza - holiday vibes. Clare Waight Keller had dedicated her collection to Chloé 's founding designer, Gaby Aghion, who sadly passed away recently ages 93. My favourite part of the collection is the suede shorts. I remember having a few pairs from the high street in several colours a few weeks back, and they're all I ever wore. So, I am more than excited that they are making an appearance this S/S!
